- Attending meetings every week is a must.
- Weekly meetings start at 7:00 pm sharp so arrive early.
- At the start of every meeting, all Scout's are to be in * Class A uniform. This does not mean Scouts are still changing into their uniforms. This also means that hats, coats, and jackets are to be off. (The only exception to this would be pre-scheduled activities that require the Class B uniform.
- Everyone must bring paper, a pencil, the calendar, and their copy of the official Scout Handbook to every meeting. It is a good idea to keep everything in one binder.
- All patrols are to be organized in the manner agreed upon by the Patrol Leaders.
- All money for outings is to be collected no later than the due date specified on the permission slip, before the close of the meeting. All money is non-refundable once food supplies have been purchased. Completed permission slips, with parent signatures, are to be turned in at this time also.
- Attendance of an outing should be for the complete outing. However, if prior arrangements are established, allowances can be made.
- Scouts in leadership positions (SPL, ASPL, Scribe, etc.) must attend 3 out of 4 weekly meetings per month. If three meetings in a row are missed, the Scout will have a conference with the Scoutmaster and be put of probation. If three more meetings are missed, the Scout must resign his position. This means that no credit will be given for serving in that position.
- Once requirements for Rank Advancement are met, including fulfillment of all leadership responsibilities, the Scout should schedule a Scoutmaster Conference. After receiving the Scoutmaster Conference, arrangements for a Board of Review can be made.
- Parents / Guardians must be involved with Troop activities in some way. This could include serving on Boards of Review, serving as a Merit Badge Counselor, driving to and from outings, assisting with fundraisers, or otherwise helping as needed.
- Scouts and their Parents / Guardians must uphold and abide by the Troop Standards, Expectations of Behavior, and Discipline Consequences.
* Full Dress Class A uniform consists of an official Boy Scout Shirt, official Scout belt, official Scout pants or shorts, (shorts require official Scout Socks be worn), and neckerchief with slide. The sash is optional except for formal events or activities. Class B uniform consists of the Troop T-Shirt with Scout pants or shorts. Troop hats are required for Troop outings. |
