Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 1814!  Troop 1814 is a year round troop, which means we have weekly meetings all twelve months of the year.  Monday evenings at 7:00 pm is when our Troop meets.  We have an active program which includes monthly events such as hikes, backpacking, rocketry, bike rides, camp outs, rock climbing, family picnics, fundraisers, service projects, and much more.  Advanced Scouts are eligible to attend occasional high adventure outings.  We also offer week-long summer camp every year to Scouts at all rank levels.

In order to join our troop, there is a total cost of $80.00.  This includes dues, a troop hat, a troop neckerchief with slide, a troop number patch, Founder's Award council patch, and shoulder loops for the Scout shirt.  The entire $80.00 is due along with the completed registration form prior to processing the application.

If your Scout is graduating from Cub Scouts and you would like us to "receive" him at his graduation ceremony (at which time we present him with the troop hat, neckerchief, slide, and shoulder loops), you will need to register and pay the full amount at least two weeks before graduation.

When the Troop has received the registration fee and form, each new Scout will receive a new Scout orientation packet.  The packet will give in greater detail the specifics of how the Troop functions, rosters, calendars, etc..  We will also schedule an orientation meeting for both the new Scouts and Parents.

We also encourage parents and family members to volunteer with various events and expect at least one adult per Scout to register with the Troop.  (Adult registration fees are paid for by the Troop)
